Limping into the 21st Century
A few days ago I finally made my way into the twentyfirst century and got a cell phone. And inevitably I felt the need to knit it something.
Here is my interpretation of what a cell phone ought to have as a house.
Stats:
My own design, made up on the fly, with a short-row toe as the bottom and cables on all 4 sides. 2x2 ribbing gently keeps it inside. This isn't to provide it protection from anything more than getting scratched up as I carry it around... it certainly won't save it from a fall.
I used some leftover Sockotta sock yarn and #1 dpns.
If you'd like a more accurate recipe, I could probably write one up.
It turned out looking more like a hot water bottle cover than I thought it would, but I guess that's okay.
No, I haven't finished anything else that I should be... but I'm going to try to get a few things taken care of before I leave in a few days. (Yay!)
